ASSESSMENT OVERVIEW
Assessments provide valuable insights from an objective point of view. Experts in their field work closely with school leadership to provide a report that can help prepare for accreditation, set the stage for necessary enhancements, and validate quality programming, staffing, and facilities. The most common assessments requested include; Marketing & Enrollment Management, Strategic Planning (and Thinking), Athletic Department, Divisional assessment (Lower, Middle, Upper), and STEAM or STEM Facilities, Curriculum & Programming. Each assessment can be customized to meet the specific needs of a school and generally includes a five stage process:
Stage #1
Pre-assessment meetings with key school leadership.
Meetings may include; trustees, Head of School, Assistant/Associate Head of School, leadership team members.
Materials will be requested and reviewed by EL5 Consulting.
Stage #2
A survey tool is completed by key school leadership and stakeholders.
Stage #3
A tour of campus.
Onsite meetings with various school constituencies.
Meetings may include; trustees, key school leadership, faculty, staff, parents, and students.
Onsite observations: typically in specific areas.
Stage #4
Detailed report to the school in four sections:
Summary of feedback from the assessment (survey) tool
Summary of feedback from observations (categorized)
Summary of feedback from interviews
Commendations & prioritized Recommendations: includes most recent research, best practices, and benchmarking
Stage #5 (optional)
EL5 Consulting provides resources to the school (at an additional cost).

Timelines can be customized but generally follow the outline below:
Stage #1 and #2: 2-4 weeks prior to campus visit
Stage #3: Campus visits are typically 2 days in length
Stage #4: Reports are typically provided no more than 1 month following the campus visit
Stage #5: Timelines for additional support will vary
